Former football player Ariane Hingst has resigned from her position as Managing Director and Head of Sport with immediate effect. This decision was made at her request and for personal reasons.
Co-managing Director Lisa Währer commented on her colleague's resignation: “I truly valued the trusting collaboration and regret Ariane’s decision. We are grateful that she will continue to support us with her experience and expertise.”
For Ariane Hingst, this is not a farewell to FC Viktoria Berlin. The multiple-time World and European football champion will remain involved as a founding partner in an advisory role.
“I am convinced of the path we are on, and in my role as a founding partner, I will give my all to help our team secure promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga next season.”
The position of Head of Sport will be filled as soon as possible. During the transition phase, head coach Dennis Galleski, who has extended his contract for another year, will take over the key responsibilities in preparing for the new season.
